"There are multiple air base AICUZ sound and safety issues with major long-term community impacts that will inevitably affect the local economy and quality of life, as well as future operation of the Key West Naval Air Station.  It appears to many citizens that these issues may have been manipulated by elected interests and officials behind the scenes, but must now be publicly deliberated in the full sunshine of multiple workshops with extensive public participation from all segments of the community before any policies are officially altered or adopted."
